On 3 July 2009 I received a message that there would be a strike beginning on the 7th of July.
On July 7th, I heard nothing and requested confirmation from many "known" Iranian twitterers, again, no one confirmed.
On July 8th, reports came out of Tehran by the Iranian government that they were declaring a national holiday for the entire week due to "pollution."
Today, on the 9th of July not only is the full-strike confirmed, there are protestors marching in the streets.
It is with deep humility I watch these women and men of great courage and bravery. Let us continue to support them.
